At Roslin Landscapes, we take pride in delivering all our services. We are committed to providing professional workmanship and ensuring our customers receive a high standard of service. Please read the points below carefully to understand what our guarantee covers and any applicable exclusions.

1. Workmanship Guarantee

Roslin Landscapes provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee on new installation and construction work carried out by us, commencing from the date of practical completion.

This guarantee covers defects directly caused by our workmanship. Where a defect is confirmed to fall within the scope of this guarantee, we will, at our discretion, repair or rectify the affected workmanship at no additional labour cost.

2. Repairs and Remedial Work

Where Roslin Landscapes carries out repairs, alterations or remedial work to existing landscaping, fencing, patios, driveways or other installations, our guarantee applies only to the specific work carried out by us.

We cannot guarantee the overall performance, durability or condition of an existing installation, nor can we accept responsibility for defects arising from previous workmanship, unsuitable original construction, underlying structural issues, hidden defects or materials outside our control.

Where we repair an existing problem, we will take reasonable care to complete the work to a professional standard. However, if the original cause of the problem remains, or other defects subsequently arise outside the scope of our work, these will not be covered by our guarantee.

3. Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover defects or damage arising from:

• Existing defects, poor workmanship or unsuitable construction by others.
• Ground movement, subsidence, settlement or changes in ground conditions beyond our control.
• Extreme weather, flooding, frost, storms or other environmental conditions.
• Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or neglect.
• Inadequate maintenance or failure to follow aftercare instructions.
• Customer-supplied materials or products, or defects covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
• Alterations, repairs or interference by other contractors or third parties after completion.
• Unforeseen underground obstructions, drainage issues or other concealed conditions not included in our agreed scope of work.

4. Reporting a Defect

Any suspected workmanship defect should be reported to Roslin Landscapes as soon as reasonably possible, with photographs where appropriate. We reserve the right to inspect the affected area before agreeing to any remedial work.

Customers should give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify any confirmed defect covered by this guarantee before arranging for another contractor to carry out repairs, except where urgent action is reasonably necessary to prevent further damage or address a safety risk.

5. Materials and Products

Materials and products supplied by third-party manufacturers are subject to their applicable warranties and terms. Where appropriate, we will assist customers in accessing the relevant manufacturer warranty.

6. Your Statutory Rights

This workmanship guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.

Roslin Landscapes reserves the right to assess each claim against the agreed scope of work and the circumstances of the reported defect.
